What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data a website stores in your browser to remember things between visits. Some cookies are essential to make a service work (for example, keeping you logged in); others are optional and used for analytics or marketing.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

• CERBERUS_SESSION — PHP session cookie used by the dashboard to keep you logged in. Lifetime: until you log out or your session expires. Set by our server.
• CERBERUS_LANDING — PHP session cookie used by the landing page contact form for anti-spam (rate limit + captcha state). Lifetime: a few hours. Set by our server.
• cerberus_consent — stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie strictly, but functionally similar) to remember your cookie choice on this page so we don't ask again.

These are required for the website to function and cannot be turned off. They contain no personal data beyond a session identifier.

Analytics (optional — off by default)

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — helps us understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they come from. We have configured it with IP anonymisation, no advertising signals, and no cross-site tracking. It is only loaded if you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner.

Third parties

The only third party that may receive data from your visit (and only with your consent) is Google, via Google Analytics. Data may be processed in the United States under Google's frameworks for international data transfers.

Transactional emails (one-time codes, alerts, password reset) are sent through Brevo (an EU-based email service), but Brevo does not set cookies on this website.
